Wales' reputation as a golfing destination has undoubtedly been on the rise in the last decade with the advent of some top quality tournament venues, and the subsequent award of the 2010 Ryder Cup to the Celtic Manor 5* Resort.
There are numerous golf courses around the capital, Cardiff, making it a superb choice for
golf breaks in Wales with the added bonus of a great night out in the Welsh capital. Aside from the Ryder Cup venue, there are some terrific resorts, notably including the Vale, the Gower and further north, De Vere St. David's Park.
This wide array has made Wales an increasingly popular choice, and as the development accelerates on the back of Ryder Cup fever, there is every reason to believe that the popularity of
golf breaks in Wales will only continue.
